Challenge Accepted! – An Interview With Jessamica92

Jessamica Interview

Hello everyone, and welcome to another Challenge Accepted! I thought it would be fun to get to know some of the Simmers that play the Legacy Challenge, Wonder Child Challenge, and/or Apocalypse Challenge (and any other challenges that we post here), so I am going to be sending out interview questions to Simmers to learn more about them and how they got into the Sims. If you would like to participate, please let me know!

This week’s Challenge Accepted! features Jessamica92, a popular Youtuber in the Sims community. Jessica has several Sims Let’s Plays running right now including a Sims 4 Legacy Challenge as well as an all new Sims 4 Disney Legacy. She also occasionally streams on her Twitch.tv channel. Here is what she had to say:

Mystic: When did you start playing The Sims?

Jessamica92: I started playing The Sims since 2002. I started out playing The Sims Online. Never played the original sims till a couple years ago.

What made you decide to try the Legacy Challenge and/or other player-made challenges for the game?

I always had a hard time sticking with a family. I always got really bored with it. And I started watching the legacy challenge lets plays and fell in love with the challenge. So far I’ve gotten to 3 generations and I am determined to try and finish all 10.
I also just think that challenges make the game a little more fun. There is only so much you can do before it gets a little boring.

What is your favorite game and expansion pack for the franchise?

Sims 2: freeplay
Sims 3: Generations

What is your favorite Sims challenge to Let’s Play/Stream/write about?

My favorite lets play is one of my own that I have done. That is my All In One. That lets play went on for a very long time.

Of all of your Sims, who is your favorite?

That’s a hard one cause I have a lot. But I think it’s Becca from my Cims 4 Legacy Challenge lets play.

Of all of the Sims games, what is your favorite lifetime wish/aspiration?

Either the surrounded by family or Master Chef.

Do you have any tips for people that are just starting out playing Sims challenges?

It’s a challenge for a reason. Try your best not to cheat. Yes bend the rules a little bit if you want. But try not to cheat. It takes the fun out of it all (:

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer our questions!

I loved Sims 2 Free Time as well!

I agree with the no cheating – I used to do rosebud or motherlode all the time in The Sims 2, and then it became too easy and boring. So far I haven’t used a single cheat for The Sims 4 and I intend to keep it like that as long as I can. 🙂
