Sims 4 Flirty Heart Cookies

It’s Valentine’s Day this week so I thought that it would be the perfect time to make a recipe for The Sims 4 Flirty Heart Cookies. This recipe can only be made in game when Sims have the “flirty” emotion and require level three in the Cooking Skill. Like I mentioned in my Black and White Cookies recipe, I don’t typically make cookies for my Sims as Sims 4 Sims tend to gain weight super quickly. However, this recipe looked way too adorable to pass up. So I fattened my Sims up for the sake of seeing how this recipe looked in game.

Looking at these cookies in game, they reminded me a lot of heart-shaped jam sandwich cookies, so that is what I did when making these. They will require both a large and a small heart shaped cookie cutter. I recommend this set from Wilton.

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I am SUPER happy with how this recipe came out. It’s probably one of my favorites that I’ve made so far. The cookies are sweet, soft, and gooey from the jam filling. If I could eat a whole tray in one sitting, I would. But that would cause me to gain weight faster than my Sims do when I make them cookies… probably not a good idea, haha.

Sims 4 Flirty Heart Cookies

Sims 4 Flirty Heart Cookies made in real life. These are tasty and sweet jam sandwich cookies.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (you may substitute almond extract if you wish)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup strawberry or raspberry preserves
  • heart-shaped cookie cutters
  • parchment paper
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. Cream the softened butter and sugar in a medium mixing bowl using an electric mixer set on low to medium speed, continue mixing until the mixture looks light yellow and fluffy

  3. Add the remaining ingredients and mix with mixer until a solid dough-ball forms

  4. Allow dough to chill in refrigerator for approximately two hours

  5. Once dough is chilled roll it onto a well floured surface until it is approximately 1/2 inch thick

  6. Cut the dough using the large to medium sized heart-shaped cookie cutter and place half of the cookies onto the parchment lined baking sheet

  7. You may need to re-roll the dough a few times to get 24 heart shaped cookies

  8. With the remaining 12 cookies, use the smallest heart shaped cookie cutter to cut a smaller heart shape into the center, set aside

  9. spread about 1/2 teaspoon of preserves onto the cookies that are already on the parchment paper

  10. Once the preserves are spread, top with the remaining cookies that have the smaller heart cut into them

  11. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown

  12. Allow to cool for about 15 minutes before serving. You may top with some powdered sugar if you wish.

Enjoy!
