Well hi everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these lists. As you know, our move to a new state is quickly approaching which means that these posts will be fewer and farther between until we are all settled in.
Since it’s been a month since I’ve done a Stories & Let’s Play list, I will split the list in two (Stories in one, LPs in another) and each list will list stories and LPs from the entire month rather than the last week.
Given how insanely busy I am with real life right now, there is an excellent chance that I have missed someone in these lists. If I have, please don’t hesitate to let me know in the comments below!
Hi everyone! Pinstar and I hope you all had a fantastic holiday season.
I just wanted to let you all know that we added a rule tweak in regards to Legacy lots. The gameplay rules state that a family cannot move from the lot you move the founder onto and must live on that lot for the duration of the 10 generations. However, with the addition of the 64 x 64 lots in Windenburg in Sims 4 Get Together, we decided that you are allowed to move an already established Legacy family from a 50 x 50 lot onto one of the new 64 x 64 lots ONCE during the challenge. Once they move to the 64 x 64 lot, they are not allowed to move again. The FAQ and Gameplay Rules sections have both been updated to reflect this tweak.
Finally, I also wanted to give you all a brief update on real-life stuff. As some of you know, we are in the process of moving. Well we finally have a house and will be closing on it in mid-February. That’s less than two months away at this point! EEK! Given how busy we will be with the move, there will be less activity on the Legacy Challenge website. I will still try to post the Stories and Let’s Play Lists when I can, but expect their frequency to be decreased for now. Once we are moved and settled in (hopefully by the end of February), I will be getting back to weekly and possibly twice per week posts here 🙂

Just wanted to let you know that the Legacy Challenge Rules have been updated for The Sims 4 Get Together. Here is a highlight of what the changes are and where to find them:
In the Getting Started section we have added in the optional Extreme Start
The Nature Collection still maxes out at 13 completed collections even though there are now 16 possibilities. You now get to choose what 13 you wish to complete.
For the 10th Popularity point you now have the option of earning this by earning all possible Club Perks for your Legacy Club instead of earning a gold medal in all of the different party categories.
Legacy Clubs are completely optional and can be created at any time during the challenge. They have the benefit that if you choose to, you can use the Legacy Club Perks collection to finish up the Popularity category without getting a gold medal at the parties.
The New Extreme Start Handicap has been added to the Scoring section.
The Random Trait Generators have not yet been updated to include the new aspiration and two new traits, but should be updated soon!

The rules for the Legacy Challenge should be updated within the next day or two. I have them written up and I am just waiting for Pinstar to give the thumbs up on them.

Hi everyone! In this final Preview & Playtesting video for The Sims 4 Get Together, I test to find out what happens to a club when it’s founder dies. This is a very important factor in determining whether or not “Legacy Clubs” will be a viable addition to the Legacy Challenge or not.

Hi everyone! As most of you know, The Sims 4 Get Together releases tomorrow! I hope you all are as excited as I am to check out the newest expansion to the game!
Pinstar and I were fortunate enough to receive an early access copy of the game from EA which gave us a chance to check out, playtest, and preview the expansion so that we can see what changes and additions we need to make to the Legacy Challenge Rules.
I decided to record my playtesting of the expansion for my Youtube channel so that you all could see some of the ideas that we have for upcoming rule changes and additions. You can watch that video below or directly on Youtube.
Rules for the Legacy Challenge will be updated within the next few days as we finalizing our playtesting of the expansion. Our current planned additions and changes include:
Club Perks will be added to the collections section in Scoring
The option to have a “Legacy Club” that persists through all 10 generations will be added to the rules
An extreme start on the new 64 x 64 lots will be added as an option for extra points
The new skills will be added to the Knowledge section of Scoring
