Ahhh here we go. Another day in the life of Arwen Novella, a single social media grunt hoping to move up the ranks of her job so that she can escape a filthy, grungy apartment and move into something more suitable to her tastes. In the previous chapter, I had Arwen write a children’s book, but forgot to have her self-publish it until the following day, so that is what she is doing in the screenshot above. It will be bringing in a whopping §3 per day. We all have to start somewhere, right?
EA and The Sims announced today that The Sims 4 will be coming to the Playstation 4 and Xbox One consoles on November 17, 2017!
In the announcement, The Sims stated: “Since our initial launch on PC, we have made several updates to the base game, ranging from the addition of Ghosts, Pools, New Careers, to the world of Newcrest, to give your Sims space to continue to grow; overhauled the Create a Sim tool, to provide expanded gender customization options; and most recently, added Toddlers as a new playable life state! All of these great updates will be available to players at launch when you play The Sims 4 on console.”
So it sounds like all of the free updates that we have received to the game since the PC launch in 2014 will be made available to console players from the start. If you are a console gamer and want to play the Sims, now is your chance!

Aww, just look at this happy family you guys! In our last chapter of the Retreaux Legacy we welcomed in baby Crono to the family. He’s a redhead like his mommy and his namesake! At this point I think that Marle and Ti-Ning are done having kids. We have an heir and a spare (and we even have a poll going so you, dear reader, can vote on who you’d like to be the generation two heir!). So let’s start focusing on the kids and the parents a bit and get some platinum aspirations bars!

That’s right, I have another build challenge today! This time it’s Ashaife’s Build Challenge for July 2017! What can I say? I’m kind of addicted to them and I’ve learned a lot about building by doing these! I had a great time with this one, though I did suffer a bit from “decorator’s block” after finishing the exterior. So it took me a little longer to decorate this house than it normally does. That being said, I think it came out great and I’m really pleased with the final results! Continue reading →
Hello everyone! Last week I introduced you to my new Movin’ On Up Challenge founder, Arwen Novella. This week will be taking our first look into her daily life at 1313 21 Chic Street where she will be living for at least the next Sim week or so.
A couple of things that I forgot to mention before we get started. The lot traits for her first apartment (two of which I chose) are Needs TLC (which comes standard with this apartment), Gremlins, and Filthy. So basically. This apartment is awful. I wasn’t about to make the challenge easier for myself by giving it two good lot traits. This isn’t SUPPOSED to be a nice apartment. So she’s going to be living in squalor for a while. Poor Arwen. Let’s see how she does!
Hello everyone! I have to say, I’ve really been enjoying these build challenges that some awesome Simmers have come up with. Hello everyone! Ordinarily I would be posting my Weekly Links List today, but Youtube seems to be having some pretty major issues this morning and it’s preventing me from accessing all of the Let’s Plays on the list. Uh oh. This chalk outline of a Sim body can only mean one thing. I’m starting a Movin’ On Up Challenge story! I started this challenge about 8 or 9 months ago, but never got around to finishing it. I had started a Let’s Play on my Youtube channel, but as most of you know, I have decided to focus more on this website than I have been on Youtube or Twitch (mostly thanks to ISP data issues).
