Chapter 5 of my story saw the birthday of the twins, Lancy and Baden. They are now teenagers, yay! However, as Sarahzsmyl pointed out after I posted Chapter 5, I neglected to mention the aspirations that the twins rolled. Whoops!
Baden rolled Romance and Lancy rolled Pleasure… *headdesk* Lancy’s lifetime want is to Become a Game Designer and I don’t remember what Baden’s was. At least Lancy’s LTW was one of the less painful Pleasure LTWs…
As I mentioned in Chapter 5, I decided to finally go ahead and add some custom content replacements to my game. I showed a picture of what Lancy looked like, but not Geneva. Here she is. I’m really loving the skintone replacement, it looks much more realistic.
Oh boy… look out Pleasantville… Lancy has a license now. We’re doomed.
Oh did I happen to mention that both Lancy AND Baden rolled Grilled Cheese for their secondary aspiration?
Because they did.
So basically seeing as Lancy is a Pleasure/Grilled Cheese Sim and Baden is a Romance/Grilled Cheese Sim, neither of them will ever get heavy. They could eat all of the cheese in Wisconsin in one sitting and not gain a single ounce. I think I hate them both a little bit more now.
Lancy, being the lovely little Pleasure Sim that she is, rolled a want to buy a video game worth more than $500. So, I obliged and bought her this. Who am I to deny my Generation 2 heiress (and the only girl out of 5 children) what she wants?
Lancy: *siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh*
Uh…. Lancy? Everything alright?
Lancy: NO! God don’t you know ANYTHING?! I got FIRED! FIRED!!!! Me!!

Lancy: I mean, how was *I* supposed to know that L33tHaxx0rs was going to completely cheat and zerg my team. I mean come on!!
Well then… get your butt to a computer and start looking for a new job. Simoleans don’t grow on trees you know!
Lancy: You are starting to sound like mom.
At least I haven’t started calling you Lancymom yet.
Lancy: True….
Lancy: Um… dad? What are you doing?
Aaron: Oh you know… just admiring my hand. It’s such an exquisite hand.
Lancy: Ok but um… talking to Baden through your legs is getting a bit… awkward. Can you admire your hand over there?
Aaron: But the light is so much better here!
Lancy: Not from where I’m sitting…
Aaron: I must admire these hands while there is still time! Soon they will become old and wrinkly… *sniffle*
Right… just hurry up and age already.
Aaron: Oh hey! They are actually still rather exquisite! I mean, there’s a liver spot here and there, but otherwise just as baby soft as always.
Umm…. congratulations?
GAH!!!! No!!!! Anything but the Legacy tree! Why did lightning have to strike THERE?! Hurry up rain! Put it out!
(Thankfully the tree survived)
Time to send Baden off to college so I can focus on Lancy 100% of the time.
Lancy: Baden PLEASE take me with you! I don’t want to stay here with batty old Mom and “Exquisite Hands” Dad! I don’t want to be the Heiress! I want to be free!
Geneva: Oh look! Bananas!
Ok Geneva, I know these don’t look much like apples given the pale color and all, but they sure as heck don’t look like Bananas.
Geneva: Listen Invisible Sky Lady, I know a banana when I see one and this here is a banana! Just look at the purple coloring!
*blink*
Geneva: Oh! Frederick! How lovely it is to see you! *air kiss*
Pinstar: No, no, Geneva! It’s Pinstar! *reciprocates air kiss*
Geneva: Oh I don’t think so good sir! Your name is Frederick!
Pinstar: No… no… it’s Pin…
Geneva: I SAID IT’S FREDERICK!
Pinstar: Um… ok.
After that harrowing experience with Geneva, Pinstar hid in the game room for the rest of his visit playing with the pinball machine. I can’t really say I blame him.
Lancy: Oh hi there Jake! I’m so glad you could stop by!
Lancy… Queen of Subtlety
Lancy: Ooh Sky Lady! Jake is hooooooooooot!
Jake: Huh? What was that Lancy?
Lancy: Oh nothing Hot… I meant Jake!
*facepalm*
Jake and Lancy really hit it off (they have 2 Lightning Bolts after all). She was able to nab her first kiss after only a few romantic interactions. It’s a shame he doesn’t have red or blonde hair (I’m hoping to keep the recessive hair color in the family for as long as possible) or he’d be a shoe in for Lancy’s future spouse.

Eeek… Who came up with the idea of a Pleasure Sim, anyway? Pop sims aren’t bad enough? You had to mix them with Romance Sims? At least they seem to have easy LTW’s, mine rolled Professional Party Guest. Are you not sending your heiress’ to college?
No I’m not. I really dislike college in Sims 2 so I’m only sending 1 heir througout the entire challenge so I only have to play through it once. That heir will then get the college career reward objects. I’m waiting to see if I get a Knowledge heiress, as that will be the one that gets sent 🙂
Yeah, I hate it, too. But, I really like the 6 Want slots and two Locks. But, I’m only going to send enough through to get the career objects or if their LTW is a career related want. They get to max career FAST with Uni.
