Stories vs Let’s Plays – Help Me Decide!

Hi everyone! I’m getting ready to come back from my 2 week long break and get back into the swing of things here and on Youtube. I have a question for all of you that have been reading the Retreaux Legacy and the Novella Movin’ On Up Challenge, however.

I’ve been considering moving these both over to my Youtube channel as a Let’s Play, but I am not sure if I want to or if I will be making it difficult for some of you to keep up with them if they move there. If they move to Youtube, I will be picking the stories up exactly where they left off. I will not be restarting them. The chapters that have already been written will stay on the website for everyone to read if they need to catch up.

I have created a poll and would appreciate it if you all could answer whether you prefer them as written stories or Youtube Let’s Plays. I’ll keep the poll up until next Friday, September 8th.

The Retreaux Legacy Ch 1.9 – Happy Birthday Crono!

Hello everyone! This chapter is a few days later than usual (normally I post it on Tuesday) due to my working on the Random Trait Generators. Better late than never, though, right? In our last chapter, we received several visits from “Random Work Friend” and she is now quite close to Ayla. This should hopefully benefit Ayla when she becomes an adult and needs to make friends for promotions.

The Retreaux Legacy Ch 1.8 – Random Work Friend Likes to Visit

Ahhh… another day in the life of the Retreaux Legacy. Now that the kids are getting older, things are starting to get more interesting. Ayla is in school now and Crono is learning his toddler skills so that he’s ready for childhood and beyond. In our last chapter, things got a bit buggy in regards to Crono aging up, so hopefully we don’t encounter any more game issues in this chapter. It’s waaaay too early in the Legacy to start encountering bugs!

The Retreaux Legacy Ch 1.7 – Just Age Up Already!

Hello everyone! A lot happened in our previous chapter of the Retreaux Legacy. Marle was super busy playing the role of Supermom while Ti-Ning was out working to earn his next promotion. Not only that, but little Ayla aged up into a child! She was able to accomplish the “Age Up Well” want so she is now sitting comfortably in the platinum for a while.

Aww, just look at this happy family you guys! In our last chapter of the Retreaux Legacy we welcomed in baby Crono to the family. He’s a redhead like his mommy and his namesake! At this point I think that Marle and Ti-Ning are done having kids. We have an heir and a spare (and we even have a poll going so you, dear reader, can vote on who you’d like to be the generation two heir!). So let’s start focusing on the kids and the parents a bit and get some platinum aspirations bars!

Chapter 1.1 – Meet Marle Retreaux (Sims 2 Legacy Story)

Hello everyone! It’s been ages since I sat down to write a Sims story. It’s something that I’ve been wanting to do again for quite some time and now that I am no longer Twitch streaming (thanks ISP data cap!) I actually have the time to do so again. I got my start in Sims lit with writing a Sims 2 Legacy story about the Legato family way back in 2005. I never finished the Legacy (actually… ironically enough I have NEVER finished a Legacy), but I really do want to at some point. One thing that I thought would be fun would be to start with a Sims 2 Legacy and work my way up to Sims 4. Yeah, it’s going to take time, but since I’m not recording it or streaming it, I actually think it may not take as long as either of those two options would have.

So without further ado… let me introduce you to our founder, Marle Retreaux (pronounced “Retro”)!
