The Fantasia Legacy – Chapter 6

In the last chapter of the Fantasia Legacy, all of the family members celebrated a birthday. Wei became an elder, Hermione an adult, Luna a teenager, and Neville a child. At this point, I’ve more or less decided that Luna will be the heiress as I like the traits that she is ending up with.

Love is in the air and it’s time for the spring festival here in Twinbrook. Everyone rolled a want to go to the festival so off they went!

The Fantasia Legacy – Chapter 5

Hello everyone! I had initially posted that I would only be posting my Legacy chapters every other Saturday, but I’ve been playing A LOT of The Sims 3 lately, so I decided to go back to posting chapters every Saturday instead.

We last left the Fantasias after celebrating both Luna and Neville’s birthdays. Luna aged up into a child and I had forgotten to mention that her newest trait is Socially Awkward, which was randomly rolled. I swear I feel like the game WANTS her to be just like Luna Lovegood. Neville aged into a little toddler Gollum.

Now it’s time to celebrate Wei’s birthday. He will become an Elder.

The Fantasia Legacy – Chapter 4

Hello again everyone! We last left the Fantasias at the Fall Festival where they enjoyed bobbing for apples and taking a great little family photo.

Aren’t they such a nice little family? It’s back to the grindstone, however, and Hermione has her first day back at work after having Luna. So they hired a babysitter to watch after their little one.

The Fantasia Legacy – Chapter 3

Chapter 2 ended with Hermione and Wei getting a start on Generation 2 of this Legacy. Hermione became pregnant on the first try; so we expanded the house a little bit. Here is the interior:

The Fantasia Legacy – Chapter 2

We last left Hermione with the discovery that Lenny Smith-Jones, one of her potential husbands, is rich. Sadly this means he is out of the running to be the Generation 1 spouse. So, now it’s up to Wei! With any luck, he won’t be rich as well and Hermione and he can tie the knot soon.

Ok Hermione, let’s see if Wei is rich. We’re at his house now. This is his roomate, Lang. Talk to him a bit to see if you can figure out how much money they have.

The Fantasia Legacy – Not this week…

Hi again everyone!

I was originally going to do my Legacy Chapters every Saturday, but with my new job as an editor for an awesome Indie gaming website and my other gaming website, not to mention a busy real life schedule with my kids, I just don’t have the time to play The Sims 3 often enough to write chapters weekly. So I think I am going to push this to every 2 weeks just to give me time to get the screenshots taken and the chapters written. If I get a week where I have more time to play then I will get one out two weeks in a row, it just really depends on timing.

So with that in mind, I am not going to be posting a new chapter today, but I do plan on having one up next Saturday. I just didn’t have enough time to play this week to get enough screenshots for another chapter.

The Fantasia Legacy – Chapter 1

Yesterday, I introduced you to my new Sims 3 Legacy family, the Fantasias. Today I will begin the story that will document their lives through Generation 10!

Seeing as Hermione has the lifetime wish of becoming a World Renowned Surgeon, I immediately sent her to the local hospital to apply for a job. You are now looking at Twinbrook’s newest…. organ donor… Well, I suppose everyone has to start somewhere, right? I just hope she still has all of her vital organs by the time she gets her first promotion, yikes!

The Fantasia Legacy – Introduction

Well Simmers, I have a new Sims 3 Legacy up and running now that my Sims 2 game doesn’t seem to want to cooperate anymore.

To be honest, I haven’t really played much of The Sims 3 in the last year or so. I was so absorbed by my Sims 2 Legacy that I didn’t really have time to do much in the newer game. I have to say though, I really love the quality of life changes that the Sims 3 has compared to the Sims 2. It’s much more Legacy friendly and the open world really helps to cut down on loading times when going from one place to another. I’m looking forward to playing more of this game!

I will be playing this family in Twinbrook. I like that the town starts out a bit run down. It is motivating me to get my family to buy as many of the lots as possible so that I can update the town as my family’s wealth increases. It will be yet another way for me to track my family’s progress as the town will gradually improve as well.

ImaginingMystic’s Sims 2 Legacy Challenge – Update

Hi all!

Unfortunately there will be no Sims 2 Legacy Challenge chapter today. My Sims 2 game has decided to die again. It was having near constant errors for the last couple of weeks where I would only be able to play for a few minutes and then it would shut down. Now it won’t boot up at all.

I’m going to be honest here. I’m tired for fighting with the game. I tried getting everything moved to Origin, but only a few of the Sims 2 games are available there. So, I’m going to have to throw in the towel on the Sims 2 Legacy. I just can’t keep fighting with it. I am hoping to get a Sims 3 Legacy up soon and POSSIBLY do it as a YouTube Let’s Play instead of written chapters, but that is a big if at the moment. I have to see how my computer handles video recording and editing. I’m skeptical as to whether or not it can. If it can’t, I’ll do written chapters like I’ve been doing with the Sims 2.

I am sorry to everyone that has been reading my Sims 2 Legacy story. I was really having fun with it, but it’s just not worth the stress of fighting with The Sims 2 game anymore.

I’m hoping to get my Sims 3 Legacy up (in one form or another) by next Saturday, so stay tuned!

ImaginingMystic’s Legacy Story – Chapter 7

Well here we are again for another Legacy story chapter. Interestingly enough, even though I’m still only partially into Generation 2 in the stories, I’m already well into Generation 5, almost Generation 6 in game. It’s nice to go back and see all of the Sims from the previous generations!

We last left our family with Lancy getting her first kiss from Jake. Aww, how sweet.
