Eat Like a Sim – Super Chocolate Tummers Bomb Cupcakes

Today’s recipe is for Sims 4 Super Chocolate Tummers Bomb Cupcakes. These tasty little cupcakes can be made from the Cupcake Machine in The Sims 4 at level 7 cooking. The cupcake machine is a nice little addition to The Sims 4 and allows you to make all sorts of tasty treats for your Sims (and as of the Get to Work Expansion, you can make more than just cupcakes in it!)

Holy plumbob you guys. I figured with a name like “Super Chocolate Tummers Bomb” that I needed to go way overboard on the chocolate with this recipe. And that is just what I did. Chocolate cupcakes filled with chocolate chips, nutella buttercream frosting, and MORE chocolate chips on top. These things are DELICIOUS. My good friend Val (aka 8bitmom) visited when I made these, so she and her son helped taste test this recipe. It was a hit all around.

Eat Like a Sim – Month of Cookies – Coming Soon!

That’s right everyone! My popular, Eat Like a Sim recipe posts will be focusing on cookies for the entire month of December!

I will be posting a new Sim cookie recipe every week for you to make in real life! I have already compiled a list of what I’d like to make, and should have at least one new cookie recipe for you to make every week. Each cookie recipe is based on a recipe found in the Sims games (from Sims 1 to Sims 4). So get those baking hats on, you’ll be needing them soon!

Featured Legacy of the Week – The Moonbeam Legacy by Trenton!

This week’s featured Legacy is the Moonbeam Legacy by Trenton. The succession laws for this Legacy are equality/modern/random. The Legacy is being documented on Trenton’s blog. At the time of writing this, the family is up to generation four. Trenton ended up with twins in generation two… oh boy! Talk about starting things off with a bang! Eat Like a Sim – Taco Casserole Recipe (Sims 4)

Today’s recipe is for Sims 4 Taco Casserole, which is found in the Sims 4 at level 3 cooking skill (and costs 43 simoleons to make). This particular in-game recipe is a staple in my Sims 4 Legacy Challenge family as it feeds a lot of people and seems to fill them up quite nicely.

I thought the in-game item looked pretty tasty, so I decided to take a shot at making a real-life version! The best part about this particular recipe is that it is very customizable. You can add in lots of different optional add-ins depending on your own personal preferences. Continue reading →

Featured Legacy of the Week – The Fondue & Orphan Legacies by Marz!

This week’s Featured Legacy of the Week is actually TWO Legacies by the same person, Marz. Marz has a cheese naming-themed Legacy called the Fondue Legacy and an “orphan” themed Legacy called the Orphan Legacy. The fondue Legacy is founded by Cheese Fondue and all of his descendants are named after types of cheeses. The Orphan Legacy is founded by Annie Orphan, and all descendants are named after famous orphans (such as Harry Potter). You can check out both Legacies at Marz’s blog. The Orphan Legacy was originally a livestream. All pre-recorded episodes of those can be found on her Youtube channel.

Now I think I need to go eat some cheese. Nom nom nom.

Eat Like a Sim – Sims 4 Signature Cake

When Pinstar celebrated his 32nd birthday I decided to make him a special birthday cake for the occasion!

The Sims game franchise has always been an integral part of our lives. He and I met through The Sims 2 back in 2005, so I thought that making him a Sims related birthday cake would be pretty fitting. Especially for the very first recipe that I post here. Seeing as the Sims 4 recently released, I thought it might be a good idea to find a cake recipe from the game that I could use. What I learned from my failed Legacy…

Those of you that follow me on Youtube and Twitter probably know by now that my Sims 4 Legacy Let’s Play series on Youtube has ended in failure. My heir, Elrond Fantasia, died of embarrassment after his girlfriend rejected his marriage proposal and I had no eligible spare to take his place. As bummed as I am about this new turn of events, I am also realizing that I have learned a lot from my mistakes in this Legacy.
