This week marks the 15 year anniversary of The Sims franchise and to commemorate that achievement EA and Maxis are giving us lots of cool gifts to celebrate! Most importantly for Legacy Players, the game now includes Genealogy and Family Trees, something that we know many of you have been requesting for quite some time now! So rejoice! You can now view family trees.
A word of caution though, you may want to back up your save files before updating. It seems that this update has caused some save files to revert to previous saves. That’s not something that you want to happen in your Legacy Family!
This newest update also includes new Valentine’s themed clothing and items. For more information, check out the full news post at the official Sims 4 website!
Hi I have a question for the legacy challenge on the sims 4!
I have 2 kid, a brother and a sister. The sister is the heir but can I also grew a family with her brother? Like, marrying him and having kids? All in the same house of course!
Yep! This is known as a “Cadet Branch” and is 100% allowed in the rules. The spares can still earn you Legacy Challenge points, but their spouses and children cannot.
Okay thanks for clarifying! Time to get a wife to the brother haha
