Hello and welcome to the new Legacy Challenge Website! For the last week I have been busily getting our new website together. I have wanted to move the Legacy Challenge Blog over to it’s own domain for a while now, but I was worried that transferring from a Blogger blog to a WordPress blog was going to be way more trouble than it was worth. However, I finally decided to just grit my teeth and do it. And you know what? Transferring from Blogger to WordPress is EASY. It took all of about 5 minutes to get the posts from Blogger to here.
The biggest thing that we added to this new website…. FORUMS! We really want to be able to interact with all of you and answer any questions about the Challenges that you may have. We also have a place for you to share your Legacy challenge (or other challenge) stories (or links to them to your own blog). So check them out at http://forums.simslegacychallenge.com!
We’re really excited about the new site and we have a lot of plans for it. After making our little Blogger blog we realized that we really wanted to get more active in the Sims Legacy community again. To do that we have a lot of things that we will be adding to this site over time. Some will be happening in the near future, while others will be happening a bit further down the pipeline. Here is what we’ve come up with:
-More frequent Sims related news updates and how the news will affect the Legacy Challenge
-A new, more in-depth Links section – we want to give a shout out to all of the people in the community that are writing about Pinstar’s challenges
-A podcast – Still working out the details for this, but we’re hoping to start this up in the future – It will be all about the Sims Challenges that Pinstar has created, we’d like to possibly include some guest hosts from other Legacy story sites
-Eat Like a Sim posts – I have always loved cooking and there are some Sim recipes that I’d like to try making in real life. Once I do that I will be posting the recipes on the website

-Legacy Challenge Let’s Plays on YouTube – Another thing that I’ve been wanting to get into is making a Let’s Play series for the Legacy Challenge. I am still learning how to do this, but it’s something that I’d really like to get started.
